We process personal data to provide and secure the website, respond to enquiries, handle contractual or pre-contractual matters and meet legal obligations. Legal bases include Art. 6(1)(b), (c) and (f) GDPR. Where consent is required, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(a); consent may be withdrawn for the future at any time.

3. Hosting and analytics

The website is hosted by IONOS. Technical connection information, including IP address, access time, requested resource and browser details, may be processed to operate and secure the site. According to IONOS, web-hosting visitor data is anonymised on collection and retained for eight weeks. IONOS details.

IONOS WebAnalytics may also collect referring pages and access times for statistical analysis and technical improvement. According to IONOS, IP addresses are anonymised immediately after transmission and no cookies are used for WebAnalytics. No additional identifying visitor analytics are integrated into this website package.

4. Email and contact form

When you contact us, we process your name, email address, enquiry type, message and technically necessary transmission data to answer your request or consider a property transaction. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual enquiries, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f). Messages are delivered to info@daedler.com. The form has an internal spam check and no external CAPTCHA. Required fields are necessary to submit the form. We do not use solely automated decision-making or profiling.

Enquiries are retained only as long as needed, subject to statutory retention obligations. Please do not send special-category personal data through the form.

Only the fields marked as mandatory are required to submit the form; without them, the enquiry cannot be processed via the form. Records subject to commercial or tax retention obligations may be retained for the applicable statutory periods. Please avoid submitting special-category data, such as health information.

5. Confidentiality and recipients

Confidential sale or rental enquiries are handled for the relevant purposes. Data may be shared with technical providers or parties involved in an international property enquiry where necessary and lawful. Transfers outside the European Economic Area require an appropriate legal basis and applicable safeguards or exemptions. Statutory disclosure duties remain unaffected.

We do not generally disclose contact details for third-party advertising. Disclosures required by law and duties to retain records remain unaffected.

6. Cookies and external content

The website package uses locally stored images and does not embed advertising trackers, third-party maps, videos or CAPTCHAs. The website code does not set non-essential tracking cookies. Additional services will require an update to this policy and, where legally necessary, consent.

The website uses local or system fonts as well as locally stored images. External links lead to websites controlled by third parties, whose privacy notices apply when you visit them.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection (Arts. 15–21 GDPR), the right to withdraw consent and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact: info@daedler.com. Data protection supervisory authority in Hesse: Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Postfach 3163, 65021 Wiesbaden, Germany.

You may object to processing based on legitimate interests under Article 21 GDPR and withdraw consent at any time with future effect; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

8. Security and changes

We use appropriate security measures. Valid HTTPS must be configured on the server. This policy will be updated when the website or services change.

9. Data protection officer

Fewer than 20 people in our company are regularly engaged in the automated processing of personal data. Accordingly, under Section 38(1), first sentence, of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), the number of persons involved does not in itself require us to appoint a data protection officer (DPO). Based on our current assessment, no other statutory circumstances requiring such an appointment apply. Please contact us directly with any data protection enquiries.

10. Additional data processing in connection with real estate brokerage

For enquiries about renting, selling or searching for property, we process, depending on the matter and to the extent necessary, contact and communication details, property and contract information and, where specific contractual negotiations take place, possibly additional information such as postal addresses, dates of birth or payment details needed for contract performance. Information supplied by prospective tenants in a tenant self-disclosure form is generally collected only when required for a specific rental decision. Legal bases are Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract and pre-contractual steps), Article 6(1)(c) (legal obligations) and, where applicable, Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interests in proper brokerage, communication and legal claims).

In specific brokerage and contractual transactions, necessary information may be disclosed to owners, landlords, prospective buyers or tenants and engaged service providers, insofar as required for the matter and legally permissible. Creditworthiness checks take place only where lawful and necessary in the individual case; the nature, timing, recipient and legal basis will be explained separately to the individuals concerned before the check.

We erase data when the relevant purpose no longer applies and no statutory retention obligations or legitimate interests in establishing, exercising or defending legal claims prevent erasure. Business records are subject to the applicable commercial and tax retention periods. We therefore cannot promise automatic immediate deletion following a viewing or the conclusion of a contract.

If you contact us through an external property portal, that portal operator also processes information under its own responsibility. Please consult its privacy notice for details. This policy applies to our subsequent handling of your enquiry.

For privacy questions or requests to exercise your rights, contact info@daedler.com.

11. Credit checks and preparation of tenancy agreements

Where a prospective tenant has a concrete intention to rent, we may, where necessary and legally permissible, arrange a creditworthiness check through DEMDA Deutsche Mieter Datenbank GmbH & Co. KG, Langenstraße 52–54, 28195 Bremen, Germany. Only data required for the particular check will be shared. Before such a check, we inform the person concerned about the data, recipient, legal basis and any other required details. We do not perform credit checks merely because someone makes an initial enquiry or views a property.

We may use Haus & Grund Verlag und Service GmbH, Grüneburgweg 64, 60322 Frankfurt am Main, Germany, to prepare tenancy agreements. The necessary contact, property and contract information may be processed or disclosed for this purpose where legally permissible.

Relevant information may also be shared with the landlords or property owners involved in the transaction. The legal basis is, in particular, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; other bases may apply depending on the circumstances. The providers’ actual data protection roles and applicable notice requirements must be assessed against the services used.

12. Contact form via Web3Forms

We use Web3Forms (web3forms.com), an external service that forwards contact enquiries by email. When you submit the form, the information you enter (name, email address, subject and message) and necessary technical connection data are sent to Web3Forms for delivery. The legal basis is GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) for pre-contractual enquiries or Art. 6(1)(f) for other enquiries. Processing may take place outside the EU/EEA. See https://web3forms.com/privacy for the provider’s privacy information. Alternatively, you may contact us directly by email.
